Print a Certificate of Attendance for Your Participation in the Conference. Participants can print a certificate of attendance by logging into their MPSA account and clicking “Request a Certificate of Attendance”. Certificates of attendance will only be provided to those registered individuals with accepted roles on the program who either attended the conference in-person (you must have checked in with registration and picked up your name badge) or have logged into the virtual meeting.

Nominate a paper for a research award! Did you see any outstanding research presented at the conference this year? The MPSA is accepting nominations for field, subfield, and career stage awards. All nominations must be made by those with section or panel responsibilities (section head, chair or discussant) or by a professional-level or retiree conference participant. Self-nominations are not accepted. We strongly encourage you to make nominations as soon as possible, while the paper presentations are still fresh in your mind! The deadline to nominate deserving research is July 1, 2024. Nominate here!

Upload a Final Version of Your Paper for the Online Conference Paper Repository. MPSA’s online conference paper repository serves as a place to share papers and presentation resources for research presented at past MPSA conferences. Upload your paper after following the instructions here.

Recently Published a Book? MPSA members can showcase their recent publications on the MPSA Bookshelf!

MEMBER TESTIMONIALS

PROFESSIONAL LEVEL - GRADUATE STUDENT

Why MPSA?

I feel privileged to be a member of the Midwest Political Science Association (MPSA), whose commitment to advancing the frontiers of research, as well as preparing young researchers remains invaluable.

Given its track record, MPSA will offer me the leverage to hone my research skills and connect with scholars across the world. This will afford me the opportunity to contribute to the discipline of Political Science at a global stage.

Chinedu Ayogu

Department of Political Science,

PROFESSIONAL LEVEL – RETIREE

I attended my first MPSA meeting in April 1973 during my first spring at Bradley University, and have attended and/or participated in every meeting since then except for 2012 due to a professional conflict. I have always found numerous panels of interest, enjoy connecting with colleagues (especially as the only political theorist at BU), and find the book exhibits very useful. My overall experience with MPSA has always been positive and Meegan Isenhour is wonderful about answering any procedural questions or concerns I might have. I can't imagine not belonging to and participating in MPSA.

Caterpillar Professor of Political Science Emerita

PROFESSIONAL LEVEL – GRADUATE STUDENT

Joining MPSA creates an opportunity for members to learn and connect with like-minded colleagues, initiate research projects and develop innovative academic ideas. MPSA provides all kinds of grant awards in recognition of its members' academic excellence and productivity as well as offering professional opportunities for career development purposes. MPSA staff are respectful, highly professional and always prompt in responding to inquiries.

PROFESSIONAL LEVEL – GRADUATE STUDENT

Throughout the early stages of my academic career, MPSA has consistently provided valuable networking opportunities. Each year I look forward to MPSA as an opportunity to connect with colleagues at other institutions and to start building new connections.
